Dr. Carlos Garcia has a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he studied Cellular and Molecular biology. He then recieved his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. He completed a Small Animal Surgery internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida. He has performed numerous surgeries since, in a large variety of therapeutic areas, such as orthopedics, oncology, soft tissue and oral surgery.
Dr. Garcia is passionate about relief work and has gone on multiple service trips to Puerto Rico, offering free surgical services to assist local veterinarians and shelters. He applies this same philosophy to his career, offering low-cost alternatives to pet owners who cannot afford specialists and speciality surgeries.
